The evening will begin with a performance by the Hillbilly Thomists, followed by a celebration of accomplishments over the past Fraternal year, and will close with a must-see music performance by Craig Morgan.

Craig Morgan

Craig Morgan has made a name for himself as a country music icon, TV personality, celebrated outdoorsman, patriotic Army veteran and a faith filled Catholic. One of country music’s best-loved artists, Morgan has charted 25 songs on Billboard. Prior to becoming a country music star and TV sensation, Morgan spent seventeen years serving our country in the Army and Army Reserves. Morgan is also an avid outdoorsman and hosts his own show, 'Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors,' on the Outdoor Channel. He became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2008. Since making his Opry debut on April 21, 2000, he has performed on the Opry stage countless times and often plays in excess of 200 concerts a year. He also frequently performs at military bases, both at home and abroad; he received the USO Merit Award for his musical contributions to the troops.

Hillbilly Thomists

The Hillbilly Thomists are a band of friars of the Order of Preachers. After playing music together for several years, they released their eponymous debut album in 2017, which reached #3 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart and mostly consisted in bluegrass standards and Americana favorites. Since then, the friars in the band have been doing what Dominican friars do: contemplating, studying, and preaching. They’ve also been writing songs. The fruit of all this is their new album, Living for the Other Side, released on the feast of St. Thomas Aquinas (the original Thomist). Proceeds from album sales, donations, and merchandise sales support the formation of friars at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C., where the Hillbilly Thomists first came together.
